A cold front will move across east Tennessee, southwest Virginia, and southwest North Carolina early this morning. This front will produce a period of strong and gusty winds. Southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph can be expected with the frontal passage. When traveling early this morning be alert to sudden strong and gusty winds. Winds this strong can make travel difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Winds will remain strong and gusty out of the west to southwest during the day.
